Artist Statement
" I photograph in large-format black and white because I like
the simplicity and beauty of the images produced in this medium
… from the deepest blacks to the purest whites.
My work is a reflection of the wonders I have seen and experienced
in the great outdoors. I encourage those who view my photographs
to explore and discover a different perspective of nature.
It is my belief that humanity lives in a fragile environment and
that we must be good caretakers of Mother Earth and treat her
with respect … combined with love and awe. "
