Moss Glass Works

Biography - Moss Holland
I first discovered glass as a young man in Berkeley, California.
I came north to British Columbia, Canada, in 1970, and continued
to pioneer in glasswork. I have been experimenting with fused glass
for many years and now over half my work is kiln fired. I am proud
to be an active part of the arts and craft community.
I have combined my creative ideas with production techniques. This
allows me to successfully produce a variety of gift items, in multiples
of different colours and textures of glass, while ultimately keeping
the retail price affordable.
My son has started his own business creating stained glass windows
and panels for clients. He also incorporates new styles and frontiers
in hot glass. My daughter is hands on with all the processes of
hot glass work. She joins my wife and I in designing and fabricating
our fused line of unique gifts for the home. Our family glass business
has an ultimate goal to create original designs of beauty and practical
use. Our customers will appreciate the fact that most of our pieces
are easily packed so that they travel well.
