Artist Statement "If we go down into ourselves we find that we possess
exactly what we desire."
Simone Weil
My work is about search and discovery, both metaphorically and
literally. I want the viewer to be engaged beyond the surface
of the picture plane, stimulating a mood that envokes memory.
The content of my work consists of a collection of images that
I've seen, imagined or appropriated. The combination of these
facets also relate to the context of my work in that I combine
experience and imagination along with aspects of reality to create
imagery that expresses my individuality.
